[LINUX_Newbies] Re: People say PCLinuxOS is more windows like in feel and look but not Ubuntu

The windows gadgets is knock off of Mac widgets. And the windows restore point is sort like Mac time machine. And with windows 7 pining applications to taskbar is crude way of Mac dock.

I have disabled new crude dock like copy of mac and made my taskbar look classic in windows 7

So yes windows copy !!

And Macs never hardly freeze or crash do the way OS was built. At the most and does not happen hardly a program will not be responsive and can be close and start up again.

But now with windows vista and windows 7 Microsoft is starting to copy this from Mac.The reason windows would freeze or crash is the programs had too much control of the kernel this not case with Mac

I never like the Mac look or windiows vista and 7 look.I like the windows 9x look.

May be it is time for me to move on from the classic windows 9x look and embrace a mac like look and interface. I know people I talk to say this more user friendly.

Some people say Ubuntu is more bridge of windows and Mac like world where it be too much a shock to jump into a Mac like look and feel.

So the Ubuntu OS is more a bridge of windows and Mac look and feel with out going full speed into a Mac like look and feel and get turn off.
