Corel Draw costs $550. Inkscape is free. If you have a Corel license then then use it, but you will have to use Windows for that. Corel Draw's compatibility in Wine has decreased over the years and version 12 is listed as "Garbage" in terms of compatibility (not the programme, the user experience).

You might be able to run it in a VM if you have decently powered computer with a good graphics card and lots of RAM. Graphics editing and drawing is CPU and RAM intensive.

I started my vector drawing in Corel Draw, but have learned to appreciate Inkscape. It is hard to make the transition once you have worked in something for a long time, but it has been years since I have used Corel products.
