Many of the minimalist browsers don't do that well with some pages--for
example, dillo might not handle javascript or flash, both of which, despite
their numerous faults, are often necessary. Using luakit can be confusing,
as can other minimalist browers. With luakit, once it's opened, hit the
letter o, as in open, and type in a web page adddress.

With surf, as another example, you don't get tabs. (Though you can install
the program tabbed, then run surf with it.

Probably has unpatched security holes, but to be honest, i don't know.
One problem is that web developers have to worry about pleasing customers
rather than writing good code, so often, newer web pages may not work
properly with older browsers.
