Linux kernel purged of five-year-old root access bug
Register
The Linux kernel has finally been purged of a privilege-escalation
vulnerability that for at least half a decade allowed untrusted local
users to gain ...

As well Linux is being targeted and saying Linux is immune to malware is
obviously a complete myth now and time to wake up and not FUD
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fud> as they used to like to call
"alarmists" ..... Related crimeware attacks...

Free Software Foundation's software repository hacked
The GNU repository has been compromised by a SQL Injection
attack. .... http://www.linuxsecurity.com/content/view/153841/
