I have a Samsung laser (ML-2010), Brother DCP-7020 laser (all in one) and an
HP Photosmart D7200 colour inkjet that all work well in all flavours of
Linux. My scanners are old, HP Scanjet 4470c and Canon FB630u and both work
well in Linux. I have never tried scanning in the all-in-one because it is a
network printer on another floor.
