Re: [LINUX_Newbies] Can't change graphic settings on Ubuntu 10.10 installed Dell...

Its a big country. Some parts stay cold by most standards year round. Parts
of the west are very cold and it is just beginning to reach the east where I
live.It wasn't cold here until yesterday. We got a sprinkling of snow over
night. Nothing to speak of, but it is an unwelcome change. We are just below
the snow belt so don't get too much. South western Ontario is on the same
latitude as northern California, but we don't have the moderating ocean
currents. Buffalo which is south of us gets much more snow due to the lake
effect. At the risk of sounding unCanadian I am not a winter person, but
there is no sense in complaining about the weather, it just is what it is
and I accept it. Day time highs this weekend are around zero C or 32 F. It
could be worse. I could live in Calgary where the temperatures can swing 40
degrees in a few hours.

I hope our American friends are enjoying their Thanksgiving weekend!
