Read some of the reviews of Zorin, since they show screenshots of the install steps. One of the screenshots should show that it will ask you if you want to take over the hard drive where WinXP resides, or install side-by-side, which is dual-booting, plus it will ask something else, which drops you into a partition manager, others can be more helpful perhaps.
