[LINUX_Newbies] laptops

 

Thank you for your help in advance I would like to have a laptop running Ubuntu or Linux Mint.But i am unsure if i need a special version or can use the bootdisk i already have.I understand the hardware an all it is just wanted to know what will work best an easiest for this.Or if an oem would do for a laptop an just laod it then.
