Re: [LINUX_Newbies] Linux Install Problem

 

The ISO hangs before getting to the desktop.  On one rare occasion it reached the desktop.  However, when I clicked on the INSTALL icon it again hung.

The system has no OS at this time so running the CD in Windows is not an option.  It has installed correctly on 2 other computers and just in case I built a new ISO and it locked up the same way.

The bios (Phoenix - AwardBIOS) is likely 8+ year old and doesn't seem to have a "secure boot" option.

Intel video usually works. Does the live CD run alright as a live CD (as
opposed to trying to install it?)
