If your computer's BIOS allows booting from USB, then until you get the new hard drive, you can install and boot from USB flash or hard drive. You can unplug the hard drive's power plug, if the noise bothers you.

A new HD should be put in by a professional? Thank You. It sounds like
HD is destroyed because this morning during booting it makes cratch
cratch may cannot boot the hd thank you all I ll try. Sophie Am
