Not likely. Some sites will not work with some browsers or their functionality is stripped down. They check for the browser identification and OS and will baulk if it is anything but their narrowly defined choices. And in some cases they may even tell you to update those. It may tell you to install the latest version of Internet Explorer, for example. It all depends on the web developer and the browser. 

The most likely cause of problems is Flash and Java. Some sites use newer versions and some browsers or OSes do not support it. In the case of MS it may have to do with ActiveX controllers which is a MS product. I have found photo editing sites for example that are made to work only with IE. These are rare, but they do exist.

Some browsers will allow you to spoof the identity in the settings. That will not resolve the problem if it is in the underlying framework, though.

Stripped down browsers are not likely to work with everything. Most sites offer different levels of usage for different browsers. You can get a basic version and a fancy version of Yahoo, for example.

I tried other browsers
this time

hv3

OK google.com is fine

But all other pages like yahoo.com or hotmail.com
are not working.

Do I do something wrong?
