Re: [LINUX_Newbies] TOP vs BOTTOM POSTING

We appreciate the work of those who keep the forum going. These discussions
are not really useful as it sounds like a criticism that we did not
initiate. However, if someone takes the time to respond and people are
dissing them because they don't like they way they post then that is
counterproductive to having a good forum. We want participation; I hope.

I don't care if people don't read what I write. Just don't bore me with
complaining that you did not read it because I top posted. That is an
intentional insult and reflects poorly on the person being rude and not me.
BTW, when these people ask for help perhaps they should say, write it in a
certain format or don't bother responding. That would save us the trouble of
trying to help them.

In the past you have been broad minded and tolerant, stepping in only where
needed. I do not want to add to your workload. The status quo works for me,
but it seems that some people want all the posting to be the same. These
discussions will continue to resurface unfortunately. People do not put
themselves in other's shoes.

Thanks again for your work.

Roy
