isn't that much more complicated than telnet on the modem side right?
It is just the server end that sounds like it could be tricky. The
modem seems to be recognized fine on my 'made for windows 2000'
laptop, though I can't actually test it since I don't have a wired
line any more. If you are correct though, do you have a link to a list
of cards that are 'linux ready' for the OP to cross check with? Did
you have any tutorials or suggestions outside of the info Paul
provided for establishing a link assuming the op has a supported modem?
