Instead of arguing about TOP posting or BOTTOM posting, each side should
give rational reasons. I see both sides of it, but I prefer top posting
for a couple valid reasons.
PROS FOR TOP POSTING:
1. The reader doesn't have to scroll down to find the response.
2. The original author's points are not taken out of context by being
fragmented by the responder.
3. The overall length of the response is often greater because of the
fragmentation of both the original message and the answers.
However, if one wants to use BOTTOM posting, my preference is that the
responder would simply say:
SEE RESPONSE BELOW ORIGINAL MESSAGE
That will clue the reader immediately into knowing he has to scroll down
to get the response. There really are two sides to most things.
