[LINUX_Newbies] Linux Wireless problems.

 

Hey, I finally got linux installed to my Dv4 Laptop. It works great! Just one problem.... my Broadcam Wireless card does not work. it just says device not ready firmware missing. What firmware? it works fine on windows! This is frustrating! I have no idea how to fix this! what can I do? I know that the wireless card is a "Broadcam 802.11/b" I also have a stick type wireless thing that I can use if the Broadcam cannot be used. the stick is a usb "linksys compact wirless-g network adapter with speed booster" Serial # MOG00J204209

Neither the built-in adapter or the USB one will work! I already like linux better than windows but I do not like the fact that I have no internet!
