Virtualbox is the best (ONLY?!) place for Windows! lol Looking forward to having the warranty expire on this machine so I can dump it (Win). Actually I do have one other problem which I've never been able to solve, even with the help of the guru's here...I can't get VBox to recognize my external drives.

Not sure if you're talking about USB external devices but if so, there is a configuration option in Virtualbox that must be enabled before the VM is made active. It can be found under the settings of the individual VM, under the Ports icon. On the right side of the window is a light-blue colored icon. Once you click it, it should put a new entry in the window to the left of it reading "New Filter 1". Its not intuitive but that "means" that the VM will not recognize any USB connected device - assuming that drivers exist in the VM.
