Re: [LINUX_Newbies] Installing Linux distro in VirtualBox

Generally when installing Linux in VirtualBox each system stands alone. You'll need to ensure you go through all the regular installation steps.

Basically you can run multiple operating systems within VirtualBox the same as you would on individual computers. Each install stands alone and requires the default configuration for each system.

If I've made a mistake, it's my own, and will, I'm certain, be corrected by other members of the list.

Subject: [LINUX_Newbies] Installing Linux distro in VirtualBox

Running Ubuntu 10.10 here and I thought I would like to try Arch linux on Virtualbox. Everything seemed to go well until it wanted to install grub. I declined because in this case I thought I didn't need it. So, I am asking you guys how has installing linux distros in VirtualBox gone for you. Do you install grub?
